Career in Blogging

Hello MisterCMT,

I want to become a blogger and I want to know how to start. I am not good in writing but I really want to become a blogger. I know that being a writer is not my forte, although I want to express myself and your blogsite inspires me to express myself and share something to some people in the cyberspace. Thank you for visiting my site and thank you again for trusting me with your question about blogging as a career.

And to answer your question,  it is easy to start blogging, all you need are creativity, imagination and knowledge about what you wish to convey to the readers.  The key is to know what you really want to express and what you are really good at.

I mentioned what you really want, because blogging can sometimes be exhausting and you may run out of ideas, if it is not what you really know and interested in doing.  So one of my advice is for  you to find your niche, the specific spot where you know you will excel and will be very confident enough to prove that you have the knowledge to share your passion.

Never under estimate your capability, all you need is practice and experience, the more you write the more you expand your vocabulary and develop your own character in writing.  Always remember that most readers does not just read your article or whatever you have on your blogsite, you can be the best writer in the world, but if you do not have what it takes to tickle your readers’ interest, your article or blog will be as boring as a frigid sexual partner.  You have to show them your passion, the desire to share your burning ideas that will satisfy their thirst for knowledge and information.

Always remember that you have to love what you are doing, reading also helps and as the old saying goes constant practice makes perfect.  Contemplate now and see what you really want to share to the people, focus on your inner being and collect your thoughts on how you want to serve other peoples’ curiosity.  Do not think of how to get lots of readers yet because what’s important is, that you are blogging because you want to express everything in writing, through your blogs, people will eventually come and check your blogsite without you even knowing it.

When the time comes and you want to share your precious post and articles you can use the social media by promoting and posting the link to your post and I am sure that your blogsite will be known in no time.

And oh! By the way look for other bloggers on the net, follow their blogs or subscribe to them and ask them to subscribe and follow your blog as well. This one to way to get into the circle of bloggers and know the ins and outs of the biz. Connection!

Reminder:  Look for a web hosting site that cares… most web hosting sites do not care about your website or blogsite, all they want is to get their monthly payment and when your website gets hacked or infected by virus or malware they will ask you to pay big amount just to have your website cleaned and back on the web. That is the saddest part about blogging.  They will even give you that “If you are a home owner and you don’t secure your locks robbers will get it in your house and steal everything, so subscribe to blah blah blah and pay $99.99 or $199.99 so we can SCAN your website daily” shit.

Now if you are just starting or just a simple blogger.  Always save a copy of your posts, pages and media somewhere, so when those good for nothing hackers gets into your website, you can start all over again.

However I know a way to at least get some of your old post back, but I can not share it online.  Shoot me an email and this will save you a lot of money and let us not let those predators nickel and dime us.
