Why I Switched Back to Blackberry
I have been a blackberry user since I started working in the marketing field this was the first ever phone that made me feel like a real professional.
Recently, because of a good deal from my service provider I was enticed to use Samsung note 4, because of its wide screen and android features that helped my fat finger navigate across the screens keypad. It was nice because I was able to watch videos on a bigger screen and read text without squinting.
I never had this experience with my blackberry Q10 before so that made me really decide to just make the switch and join the bandwagon. I am not really impressed with iPhone for a very simple reason… I lost all my voicemail when I switched to iPhone. Specially the old voicemail of my son when he was still a kid. So after 3 days of using and battling with Verizon on how to help me retrieve those voicemail I had to throw that stupid iPhone and switch back to blackberry. I went with Samsung for a while and I was impressed and satisfied with how I was able to do so many things with Android, plus the fact the all the apps that I need are offered by Google Play.
Switching back to blackberry was not really a hard thing to do, I am used to the QWERTY keypad which I have been using for almost 7 years. A big plus factor why I am also switching back to blackberry is that, this new blackberry passport has a wider screen and doing my blog on mobile is quite as easy as using a desktop or laptop, of course in a very handy way. I still do most of my work and blogs using desktop, because it gives me the flexibility of enjoying the convenience of a wide screen and of course with the use of a mouse.
Blackberry passport makes me feel very professional. It is like carrying a miniature laptop to update my work, a camera to capture and post moments that are relevant to my subject, a reader to check if my post has been getting hits and a time keeper to keep me on top of everything.
Although the downside of this blackberry is that it does not offer most of the apps I need like WordPress, Paypal, Square, PayPal Here, having a browser and a wide screen offset the lags I need to be mobile.
I am still trying learn my way back in using blackberry, but so far there is no difference from my former q10 except the wider screen and the sensitivity of the qwerty pad. I will be doing a product review of the Blackberry Passport and you can see it by clicking here.
can you also add this to your promos and give away? Just kidding!
Let us see if I get a nod from blackberry, who knows right ?
